About TOKENWISE
TOKENWISE covers tokenized stocks, on-chain US equities, and how to get at these assets with the Binance wallet. The reason we started is plain: over the past couple of years the pitch that "you can trade US stocks 24 hours a day from a wallet" has spread fast, but there's little writing that explains the mechanics, the risks, and the steps clearly, and a lot of it mixes fact with hype. We wanted a calmer, teaching-first place that gets straight what this is — and what it isn't.
Where we stand
Three lines cover it: we explain, we don't recommend; we make things clear, we don't decide for you; we state facts, we don't promise returns. Tokenized stocks are a fairly new financial product with regulation still shifting, and the risks are real. We keep coming back to how they differ from real shares, to issuer risk, to liquidity and regulatory change — rather than only the nice-sounding "low minimums, 24/7." If a piece leaves you thinking the risks got a lot of airtime, that's usually on purpose.
About the writers: pen names, no invented credentials
The bylines on the site (Muzhi Chen, Wan Su, Yuan He, Heng Zhou, Shen Lin, and others) are all pen names standing in for the different contributors on the TOKENWISE editorial team. We do this not to be mysterious but for two reasons: first, this is money-adjacent content, and we don't want titles like "senior analyst" or "ten years in the industry" — which no reader can verify — to manufacture false authority; second, to protect the contributors' privacy.
So read us this way: the content comes from people willing to read the product terms and the on-chain contracts themselves and then say it in plain language. We are not licensed investment advisers, and we don't claim to be. What we can offer is making complicated things clear. What we can't is deciding for you whether to buy, or how much — that's always your call.
How we check facts
For anything involving specific mechanics, fees, or regulation, we check against official sources where we can (exchange help centers, issuer disclosures, regulator statements, block explorers), and we note the date we checked in the text. This area moves quickly, so we write "the situation as of a given point, subject to whatever the official page currently shows" rather than treating it as fixed. When we find a mistake we fix it and log it in the corrections log.
On our promotion links
This site contains affiliate promotion links, mainly Binance sign-up and wallet invite links. If you sign up through them we may earn a commission, and it costs you nothing extra; on the contrary, signing up with our invite code usually earns a fee discount (the actual rate is whatever Binance's page shows and may change with policy). This is one of the ways the site keeps running. We separate promotion links from ordinary content and citations: promotion links carry the sponsored tag, and reference citations don't. See the disclosure, the disclaimer, and the privacy policy for more.
