Disclosure (Affiliate)
So you're clear on how we operate, this page lays out the site's commercial relationships. It's a separate matter from the risk and disclaimer (which covers investment risk) and the privacy policy (which covers data) — three different things, kept apart so they don't blur together.
How the site makes money
TOKENWISE earns through affiliate promotion. The sign-up and wallet links on this site pointing to exchanges (mainly Binance) are promotion links carrying our invite code. If you sign up and use them, the exchange may pay us a share of the fees as a commission.
What this means for you
- It costs you nothing extra. Signing up with our invite code doesn't make your fees higher; on the contrary, it usually earns a fee discount (the actual rate is whatever Binance's page shows and may change with policy).
- The commission comes from the exchange, not from you. Our commission is a promotion fee the exchange pays; it isn't money charged on top of yours.
- It isn't a buy or sell recommendation. We earn a commission on sign-ups, but that doesn't mean we're advising you to trade any product. Whether to take part, and how much, is your own call.
Where promotion ends and content begins
We try to keep "promotion" and "objective information" apart:
- Promotion links to exchanges all carry the
rel="sponsored"tag, telling search engines they're commercial links. - Reference links to official documentation, regulators, block explorers, and the like are non-promotional — they're there so you can verify the information.
- The content is for teaching; facts follow official disclosures and note the date we checked. We won't overstate the upside or hide the risks to push a sign-up — if anything, this site spends a lot of space on the risks.
We are not an exchange
TOKENWISE is an independent third-party educational site. We are not Binance or any exchange's official website, and we are not licensed investment advisers. Our relationship with exchanges is limited to affiliate promotion. For platform matters — accounts, KYC, trading — contact the exchange's official support directly.
