Privacy Policy
This policy explains how TOKENWISE ("the site") handles your information. The principle is simple: we touch as little of your data as we can. This is a static content site with no account system, and it doesn't ask you to register or fill in personal details.
What we collect
- Information you give us: only when you email us do we receive your address and what you write, which we use to reply and nothing else.
- What you type into the tools: the calculators and lookups on this site (P&L, gas, eligibility self-check, and so on) run entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to a server, and we can't see it.
- Server access logs: like almost every website, the server/CDN may record basic access information (such as IP, browser type, and time of visit) for security and operations. These logs are for abuse prevention and troubleshooting, not for profiling you.
Cookies and local storage
By default the site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. A few features may use browser local storage (for example, remembering your temporary inputs in some tools), and that data stays on your device. If we add analytics or cookies in the future, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Affiliate links and attribution
The site contains affiliate promotion links to Binance and others. When you click one and land on the partner's platform, that platform may use its own cookies or parameters to recognize that you arrived via our referral (for commission attribution). That part is governed by the partner's privacy policy, and we suggest you read the exchange's privacy terms as well. This does not give us access to your exchange account or trading details.
Third-party services
The site uses a few third-party resources to display properly, such as web fonts. When those load, the provider may handle technical request data under its own policy. Links to official documentation, regulators, block explorers, and the like point to external sites, whose data handling is their own responsibility.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA (where the GDPR applies) or another region granting similar rights, you generally have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (to the extent we actually hold any — mainly the email correspondence you send us). You can make a request through the contact page, and we'll handle it within a reasonable time. Because the site collects almost no personal data on its own, in most cases we don't hold information that identifies you.
Children
This site is for adults; the content deals with financial risk. It is not aimed at minors below the legal age where they live, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Policy updates
This policy may change as the site changes, and updates are reflected in the "Last updated" date on this page. We'll try to flag significant changes clearly. Continuing to use the site means you accept the policy in force at the time.
